Inspired by many innovative mothers bringing
products to the market, the wonderful range of New Zealand
Merino fabrics and the needs of my children, I have taken
the opportunity to develop the Pepi Snugglesuit™ sleep-suit
range.
I designed the Pepi Snugglesuit™
for my toddler who had almost out-grown his sleeping bag
and had started to stand and walk. He was at the stage where
his sleeping bag limited his movement making him frustrated
when he was ready to stand up and get moving.
I wanted to find an all-in-one suit that
he could sleep in and walk around in, which importantly
was made in a natural fibre. This would allow me to get
some sleep knowing that he wasn’t going to wake up
cold from kicking off his blankets or trying to wriggle
out of his sleeping bag.
There were plenty of synthetic sleepwear
options on the market but I could not find anything in a
natural fibre, so I made one myself. The result is the Pepi
Snugglesuit™. This sleep suit has worked extremely
well for us and my children love wearing it.
